Twelve Olympians - Richard Anthony Bean

Richard Anthony Bean

Twelve Olympians

An electronic artist who know what he is doing.

The world is awash with electronic artists dispatching familiar sounding pads, chords and electronic patterns, none of whom really capture the imagination or offer anything new or of note, however Richard Anthony Bean is the antithesis of mediocrity. Why? Because his work involves actual composition, real musical journeys thoughtfully crafted with the added bonus of excellent mixing and mastering, something that has served Richard well over the years since he studied audio engineering at university in London.

Twelve Olympians is epic in concept and musical imagination.

Richard entertains with cinematic and immersive musical representations of the Godly inhabitants of Olympus from the Patriarchal Zeus to Demeter, Goddess of the harvest. Richard has harvested both the masculine and feminine musical expressions of the protaganists in exquiste fashion, from the dark gathering clouds of Ares, the God of war with it's climactic ending featuring swords and guitar from Paul Landry to the rich and beautiful musical portrait of Aphrodite.

More than just electronic music.

If electronic music is your cup of tea you will be sipping away happily here. Richard employs 360 degree sounds in glorious panning technicolour and pristine production but offers more. The compositions are beautiful, majestic and epic, displaying Richard's skills as composer, performer and producer in unison. The album culminates in the beautiful Hestia that invokes a respectful nod Vangelis to complete 12 musical paintings of the Gods of Olympus.
